Women's Introduction to Handguns Class

This course is an introduction to handguns. The focus will be on learning:

• The four basic firearm safety rules

• Semi-automatic and revolver parts and operations

• The fundamentals of shooting including grip, stance, sight alignment and trigger control

• Basic manipulation including loading, firing, unloading, and basic malfunction clearing

• Ammunition types 

This class starts in a classroom setting discussing the basic fundamentals, operations, malfunctions and safety. Once the classroom portion is complete will will head to the firing range. At the range students will receive a safety briefing and a quick review before showing off their marksmanship skills with a variety of handguns which will be provided.  You do not have to bring a handgun or ammunition for this class. You may bring your own gun and ammunition to the range portion of our class for use after class if you like.

Fees for the class are due at time of registration. The facilities and Instructors are pre-paid based on the registrations so we do not allow rescheduling or refunds. Please verify you can attend prior to signing up. Emergencies will be handled on a case by case basis.  This is a Ladies Only class for women 18 years and older (exceptions to the age requirement must be cleared through the instructor prior to registration.
